Book Week 26th February - 2nd March
In celebration of World Book Day, High Down Infant School decided to hold a Book Week. Lots of exciting things went on in school, including dressing up as our favourite book characters and a bedtime story session where everyone returned to school in their pyjamas to listen to stories and drink hot chocolate. Lots of other activities went on during the week including an Elmer dress-up day in the Foundation Stage, listening to poetry from a guest speaker and even children writing their own books to read to the younger children. We were all very busy!
